Position: (LR) SQL Server DBA

Responsibilities:

Tasks may involve some or all of the following:

• Install, configure, upgrade and administer database software within stand alone/clustered environment.
• Experience with index management, data partitioning, server configuration and physical database design.
• Create and manage tables, synonyms, stored procedures, views, and SQL transactions.
• Diagnosis of database related issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions to management.
• Responsible for backup and restore database
• Responsible for database recovery methodologies and the ability to perform each.
• Perform data refresh across regions (Dev, Test, and UAT/Prod).
• Administer and establish database security.
• Monitor and optimize database performance.
• Create and/or tune complex queries.
• Work closely with application teams to provide input and oversight responsibility for the logical and physical database design.
• Review and assess the impact of database design changes prior to their implementation.
• Provide technical expertise in the design and development of complex SQL.
• Demonstrate a cooperative attitude utilizing effective interpersonal and communication skills with clients, coworkers and vendors.
• Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work as a member of a team.
• Follow data security guideline based on client requirement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or at least 3-5 years DBA experience
• Microsoft SQL Server 2014, 2016, and 2017 (Required)
• Microsoft SQL Server High Availability solutions (Highly Desired)
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) (Desired)
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) (Desired)
• SQL Agent jobs (Required)
• SQL Profiler (Required)
• Transact/SQL tuning (Required)
